IPmon is a program that emulates dynamic DNS, allowing you to have a permanent presence on the Web using your home PC as a Web server. The program works whether you have a permanent connection to the Internet, like DSL or a cable modem, or if you only have a dial-up connection.  
IPmon uses the Web page on your ISP-provided personal Web space to redirect traffic from there to the IP address of your home PC. On your home PC you can host a Web site of any size, and serve Web pages from a Web server running on your home PC. IPmon can automatically detect changes in DHCP IP if you are using DHCP, and it can also be run from behind a firewall, meaning that IPmon will run under most Internet connection configurations.
