"A batch of laptops pre-installed with Windows Vista Home Premium was found to have been infected with a 13-year-old boot sector virus."(Also in Russian ). Are we looped and doomed to discover "good old" vulnerabilities (remember beta versions of Vista ?) and viruses over and over again? I guess the number of signatures in modern antivirus software became so huge that antivirus vendors are getting rid of old viruses to decrease the size and improve speed.
