Insanity .

Insanity .
The" Kazan shooter " Ilnaz Galyaviev, who staged a mass shooting in Kazan gymnasium No. 175 on May 11, was declared insane at the time of his murder.

State Scientific Center of Social and Forensic Psychiatry named after Serbsky declared Galyaviev insane at the time of the mass murders.

I believe that the question of what is insanity and what is sanity is a serious fundamental problem. There is a lot of speculation here. There you can turn both ways. I came to the conclusion that a person can have consciousness and be sane in the presence of a sick consciousness, since a sick consciousness is still consciousness. Here it is necessary to study every moment of consciousness, to what extent a person at the time of committing a crime knows that he is there, to what extent he understands what is happening at the moment, to what extent he is aware of what he is doing, feels his "I". Fr om my point of view, it is impossible to justify a criminal, even if he was in a state of depression at the time of committing the crime. After all, his "I" was not disconnected at that moment! You can justify a criminal only when he had a complete blackout, when a person turned into a zombie, into an animal, acted on autopilot, as they say. But there is no such person!

Many psychoanalysts have a point of view that all human problems are from childhood, we do not bear full responsibility for what we do, because we are products of our childhood. I am a supporter of the fact that there is an innate responsibility of a person. If the consciousness works, then he must be responsible for his actions, he always has a choice. There are things in which we are responsible, and we should not blame the past.

In the XIX century, there were attempts by psychologists to identify criminal attitudes based on appearance, but then criminal psychology was not developed as deeply as it is today. In the XX century, psychologists recognized that crimes are committed on the basis of certain subconscious structures, when a person loses self-control in a state of passion. Modern criminal psychology is more analytical, Freudian, but in court proceedings in the same USA, for example, the psychology of behaviorism is used, this is a direction that studies and analyzes human behavior. At the courts, I personally speak from this position - on the analysis of behavioral acts, and not the inner world of a person, since this is in any case a subjective picture.

In the situation with the murderer Galyaviev, I see a complex overlap of various factors, which, of course, are based on the person's mental state, increased anxiety, even a depressive state that developed and led to the crime. In this case, everything else, from my point of view, is secondary — an analysis of how the parents behaved, wh ere they went, what they visited, what kind of relationship they had with their father, etc.In any case, the problem of criminal actions against the background of a mental state suggests itself.

It is possible that he is an addict, and here there is an assumption already about the psychology of a dependent person.

Adddictive and manic personalities have such a value, without which severe anxiety begins, aggression occurs — the product of increased anxiety and depression.

Is it possible that now the killer will be treated so that he returns to a normal life? Psychiatric experts do not have any responsible position of their own. Although some of them claim that special psychiatry is a medical institution. But life and objective analysis shows that these institutions are worse than prisons. Psychiatrists hold a verified legal position that contradicts reality. Psychiatry is dependent. There is no independent psychiatry, please, anywhere in the world.

The killer Galyaviev and his punishment is a murky topic bordering on social expediency and politics, in particular, with the problem of the image of Russia and Tatarstan. Terrorism or psychopathology? The problem of choice...
