The Sixth International Forum (IFTE) on teacher education as a global online-laboratory.
The Sixth International Forum on teacher education (IFTE)   is in full swing in Kazan. This time it goes online. Apparently, it will be the first Russian scientific forum to be held remotely. The forum is quite adequate to the reality and most of the problems discussed are related to online education, its disadvantages and advantages. Participants themselves experience these nuances of online dialogue. In essence, the forum has become a laboratory where online discussions of the most important issues in education and science are held. Here is a self-reflection in the "here and now" mode.

I think it's not a big deal that the coronavirus pandemic prevented experts fr om more than 30 countries from coming to Kazan in person this time, as it was in previous years. But from sour lemon, according to D. Carnegie, you need to make sweet lemonade. And the forum has not lost its significance. Moreover, it was visited by even more participants. Discussions are ongoing to complete the night!

As the Director Of the Institute of psychology and education of KFU Aidar Kalimullin noted, the remote form of work allowed to attract many new foreign experts to participate in the forum, who in another situation might not have reached Kazan.
As one of the moderators (bullying in education section), I am glad that the forum has started its work, even though international scientific communications have been disrupted due to the restrictive sanitary measures taken in the world. The ifte forum, which Kazan University has been working on for a year, is also under threat. But, according to the Director of the Institute of psychology and education of KFU (IPO KFU), Professor Aidar Kalimullin, they could not deceive the expectations of scientists who sent applications for participation and decided to hold the forum in a virtual format.

The Institute of psychology and education, wh ere I work and which organized this forum, is among the top 100 universities in the world in the subject area "Education" according to the British publication Times Higher Education. According to another authoritative rating – QS World University Rankings, KFU ranks 201-250 in the subject area "Education". By the number of publications in the field of education in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, by the citation of scientific research and material and information equipment of the educational process, KFU ranks 1st in Russia. So far, we have managed to keep the brand. What happens next? Show time.

Associate Professor of the Department of pedagogical psychology of the Institute of psychology and education of KFU, candidate of psychological Sciences Ramil Garifullin
